The Subject of my photo essay is tulips. I took them out in the courtyard at school
Why did you select this place? Why is it significant or important to you? (1)
I selected this location because I forgot to get my photos outside of school and there were flowers in the courtyard.
What concept are you trying to portray about this topic? (1)
The evolution of a flower, from birth to death
Visually, how did your images capture the narrative or “story” of your essay? (1)
I started with a budding tulip, went along with more and more tulips in the picture, and then started moving back down until I was at the "dead" flower
Discuss: the order and arrangement of your photos and how you visually unified the series of photos? (2)
Starting with the budding flower, moving along from there till the end of the flower life

Describe the composition (2) (viewpoint, angle, lighting, etc) and technical aspects / editing (2) of one of the photos.
I took the picture from head on, with just natural lighting coming from almost directly above the flowers. It was a cloudy day, and I put a cooling filter on it
